Carol Humphrey is a Staff Attorney in the Eviction & Litigation Department of Wilson & Associates, PLLC. She earned her B.A. in English at Maryville College (valedictorian, magna cum laude, 1983), and earned her J.D. from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville College of Law (1986). She has a background of general litigation with a heavy emphasis on civil prosecution while serving as Assistant General Counsel for the State of Tennessee Department of Children’s Services, as well as criminal prosecution in the capacity of Assistant District Attorney for the Ninth Judicial District of Tennessee. Most recently, Ms. Humphrey has been engaged in Creditor’s Rights Practice throughout East Tennessee. She was admitted to practice in Tennessee in 1987 and is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association; she served as a member of the Disciplinary District 2 Bar Applicant Admissions Review Committee from 1988 through 1998, as well as having been past President, Secretary, and Treasurer of the Loudon County Bar Association. Ms. Humphrey enjoys actively supporting Veterans through the local Honor Air Knoxville program, and has participated in fundraising to support East Tennessee Children’s Hospital for the past twenty years.
