Kate Lachowsky-Khan is a Partner and supervising attorney in the Bankruptcy Department at Wilson & Associates, PLLC. She has a background in management and creditor rights relating to real estate. While at the firm, she has practiced in both the Foreclosure and Bankruptcy Departments.
She is a native of Paso Robles, California and received her undergraduate degree from Sonoma State University in 2006 (B.A., Psychology, Cum Laude) and earned her law degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law in 2011, where she also earned the Dean’s Certificate of Service. While in law school, Kate was a finalist in the Ben J. Altheimer Moot Court Tournament and an octofinalist at the John Marshall Law School International Moot Court Competition in IT & Privacy Law in Chicago. She was a member of the Moot Court Board, a volunteer at Arkansas Children’s Hospital, and a Big Sister with Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Central Arkansas.
Kate was admitted into the Arkansas Bar in 2012, the Tennessee Bar in 2018, and the Mississippi Bar in 2019, and is licensed to practice in all state and federal courts in Arkansas, Tennessee, and Mississippi. She is a member of the Arkansas Bar Association, the Mississippi Bar Association, the Pulaski County Bar Association, the Debtor-Creditor Bar of Central Arkansas, and the Arkansas Association of Women Lawyers. Kate is also a certified mediator through the Arkansas Alternative Dispute Resolution Commission in Domestic Relations and Probate and has published several articles focusing on non-judicial foreclosures and title issues. She is actively involved in USFN, where she has served as a panelist at multiple industry seminars and continuing education courses.
