SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

The firm is in search of a full time Senior Accountant in our Finance Department.

The Senior Accountant works closely with the Finance Controller to serve as a liaison and coordinate the reporting, activities and processes between the Finance and Revenue Departments.

Key Performance Indicators:

1.) Deliver requested reports within established deadlines and in expected, standardized formats.
2.) Make project progress and produce completed project deliverables with adherence to both deadlines and specified department objectives.
3.) All reporting deliverables and projects contain all requested information and are free of errors.

Qualifications:
-Self starter
-Attention to detail
-Successfully manage and deliver on multiple projects simultaneously
-Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
-Ability to multi-task and shift priorities based on timeframes and importance
-Strong written and communication skills
-Ability to interact with a variety of personality types
-Deadline driven

Education:
-Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent

Experience:
-2-3 years previous experience in accounting environment desired
-1-3 years previous experience in the mortgage default industry a plus
-Prior experience with financial analysis and financial controls desired
-Knowledge of various software programs, MS Word, and strong Excel skills required.
