Leadership, Empowerment, and Development: Topics of Focus for Wilson’s LEAD Committee

For decades, Wilson & Associates has developed and maintained a stellar reputation in our industry. This success is directly attributable to our leadership team and staff.  Our firm’s mission is to be the preeminent provider of legal and professional services.  To achieve this goal, we understand the necessity of providing our staff with a fulfilling work environment that promotes personal and professional growth.  This culture of excellence is driven by our talented and passionate leadership team. Our leadership team regularly attends training sessions and educational classes aimed at cultivating strong and effective leadership skills.

Over the past year, our leadership team has completed an in-depth study of trust, a crucial component for inspiring performance. We focused on the many facets of trust, including communication, respect, and community.  As part of this educational training, we also examined the power of expressing gratitude towards staff and team members.  The result of appreciating your team members and colleagues is mutual respect.  As the Dalai Lama said, “When you practice gratefulness, there is a sense of respect toward others.”

Our talented leadership team is currently studying emotional intelligence, focusing on techniques to build emotional self-awareness and social intelligence in the workplace. Because our firm’s most valuable asset is our hard-working staff, we understand the importance of promoting an atmosphere that fosters positive and productive communication to drive success.

As Wilson & Associates continues to excel in the real estate and mortgage banking industry, and expand into other areas of law, we will continue to dedicate the time and resources necessary to ensure our leadership team possesses the training and skillset required to lead the firm into the future with pride.  We recognize that our success is the echo of the efforts of our dedicated staff.  And because of our superior leadership team and staff, the future is bright.
